We are Bespoke!

What is Bespoke, really?

There’s the dictionary definition, “made for a particular customer or user”. Wikipedia, that fount of all knowledge says “The word bespoke has evolved from a verb meaning ‘to speak for something’, to its contemporary usage as an adjective. Originally, the adjective bespoke described tailor-made suits and shoes. Later, it described anything commissioned to a particular specification.”

But, what does it mean for our users/customers?  It means we immerse ourselves into your needs and really try our hardest to understand you.  For example, for a custom look we often start with sketches.  And add color.  When we think we are close to what you want, we add color and might show you some of these rough ideas.  At this time, we can discuss choices – of fabric, of color and what kind of embroidery you might like.  We recommend Zardozi, of course, but there are many other choices.

“I am who I am, and I want the world to see me”

But let’s step back a little.  You have possibly already picked out some ensembles that you like – by adding to the cart and placing an order.  We don’t indicate any pricing, because we know our customers don’t want something “off the shelf” for their special day.  We start with those ensembles, but we don’t just adjust the size a little and try to give you something ready-made with minor changes.

A prospective bride might tell us she likes the cut of one of the gowns, but wants to make it simpler, or the opposite – add more embroidery work.  She might want to make it flow like a train or make it figure hugging.  And so on.  Hence the sketches.  Of course sketches aren’t always necessary but we will have a detailed discussion and ask you a lot of questions.  Don’t want to be bothered by details?  We will come up with something based on our designers’ years of experience with brides with a variety of tastes!

How Bespoke can really work for you…

You are unique, and for that one special day when you want the world to really see you as you really are, we want to help you do just that.  We can create an ensemble by combining multiple other ensembles while still maintaining a consistent design and look.  If you are looking for multiple ensembles for the various events surrounding the big day, we can create a coherent line of dresses, gowns and full ensembles that no one has ever seen!

Not just that, we accessorize too!  We can add bags, Dupattas, and even hair accessories for that complete look.

So contact us – call us, email us or add a few items to the cart.  And let us make your beautiful day truly special.
